Our gaskets are made from a softer material than standard gasket sets. Old tractors do not have the smooth machined finishes like new parts have today. The softer material allows the gaskets to seat into rusty and pitted surfaces. As a result our gaskets work better on older engines and eliminate the need to over tighten gaskets to stop leaks.
